Camponotus Texanus as the name suggests is found within Texas USA.

They are a large species with some impressively  long legs.  Promoting a shining black head with a brown to red thorax and black gaster.  Queens vary from 12mm to 13.5mm, they are quite fast to develop and will lay frequently in the correct environment.  They’ll benefit from temps around 25c and humidity around 55% to 65%. In general they are very easy to care for and are fully claustral
